Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens (Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror or simply Nosferatu) is a German Expressionist vampire horror silent film directed by FW Munarau in 1921; a chilling, eerie and in essence an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Nothing did so much disservice to the horror genre as the end of the silent era.
